Corporate Treasury Governance - A Model

During our many years in the corporate treasury space we have often been asked to create, edit or critique a companies treasury governance model and its associated components.

Whilst historical knowledge and experience is hugely beneficial, it is essential that as much external and new knowledge is constantly gathered to deliver the best possible solution to the company.

Whilst there are a number of documents available covering the theoretical aspects of corporate treasury governance and numerous publicly available examples covering charities, educational establishments and government agencies, there is very little available that covers commercial corporates of a mid to large size and its practical implementation. The reason generally being that such material is considered commercially sensitive and for internal use only.

The purpose of publishing these materials here is to suggest a model that might be employed to deliver an appropriate level of governance and to detail all the required components to ensure it is successfully deployed.
